Some people running 13th Age will use backdrops from the glory days of prerendered backgrounds in RPGs for fights, since a literal map isn’t as necessary.  I like the concept but I hate using things I didn’t draw myself.  Here’s a church, which I could probably skin as a throne room or court.

Today’s session involved a game of Warball, which was a semi-transparent attempt to borrow the magic of the Stick-it match from General Ironicus’s game.  My players named their position, and then defined one thing that only they were allowed to do and one thing they were absolutely forbidden from doing, and then I mirrored that onto the opposing team.

Throwin’ a bunch of recent and semi-recent drawings together.  Some NPCs, an upcoming map, a couple PCs from my 13A game, and another thing.

And hey, every crumbling church is going to need a haunted crypt.

New floor fills.  I figure I may need a ruined church for the campaign.
